Sex and Relationship Questions For Dr. Laura Berman

Posted by Stacy

I am interviewing Dr. Laura Berman .   She is a  world renowned sex and relationship expert who is considered a thought leader and innovator in her field. As a sex educator, researcher and therapist for more than 20 years, she has helped countless couples build stronger relationships, improve their sex lives, and achieve a heightened level of intimacy.

Her television shows, In The Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman and The Dr. Laura Berman Show, are featured on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. She is also a regular guest on The Dr. Oz Show.

To prepare for my interview I went to twitter and facebook and asked my fans and followers what sex questions they wanted answered.  These are the  requests I got….

1.How often should I expect to have sex after 20 years of marriage?

2. All of my friends husbands want to have sex a few times a week but my husband is not interested.  I have a greater libido than he does, it seems, and can’t seem to turn him on. What do you do when your  man has a low sex drive?

3. I have some fantasies that I’d like to bring into the bedroom—such as watching a porn flick or asking my hubby to tie me to the bed post—but I am too shy or embarrassed to bring this up. Yet, I think it would really help our sex life, which has gotten routine. How do you recommend talking about your sexual fantasies with your partner?

4. I am recently divorced after 20 years of marriage and have just started dating. I am petrified about catching a disease. I heard you can even get an STD from oral sex and that you should use an oral condom. Can you review safe sex practices?

5.What if your man is a bore in bed?  How do you gently ask him to “mix it up” without shaking his confidence?

6.He likes the lights on…you like them off (especially when you’re feeling fat).  What to do?

7.You’re not in the mood, but he’s feeling frisky.  Options?
Yeah, how important is sexual compatibility in a marriage and is it possible to change an incompatiblity?

 8. Stacy, I see so many of my friends and family getting divorced after many years of marriage…how can you be sure before you get married that things won’t sour in the long run?

9. How important is sexual compatibility in a marriage and is it possible to change an incompatiblity?

What would you ask Dr. Laura Berman?
