Ruschmeyer’s and The Electric Eel Disco

Posted by Stacy

Ruschmeyer’s became Second House Tavern and now is Ruschmeyer’s again.

Ruschmeyer’s, open for private events this weekend and booking reservations starting Monday, 631-668-2877 . Ruschmeyer’s, a nautical ‘Summer camp’ located minutes from the beach, was originally built in 1952 on 3 acres of lush, lakeside woodland. There are 19 ‘cabins’, restaurant, bar and beer garden.
Ruschmeyer’s will offer a slew of activities from ping pong to kite surfing, paddle boarding to yoga. They will have bikes to rent, trails to hike and a treatment room to make everything right again! Among the wooden lawn lies a teepee, a treehouse and plenty of hammocks for lazing in the sun.

They’ve teamed up with Phil and Ben from Silkstone and the guys behind Fat Radish on Orchard Street in NYC.  Enjoy dinner both indoor or in the Magic Garden, a classic maritime cocktail to follow in The Electric Eel Disco, or share a punch bowl and drum circle at ‘The Pool,’ swimming pool turned sand pit, turned beer garden!

The Nook, just off the restaurant, will offer fresh juices, smoothies, pastries, muffins and salads daily. The Electric Eel disco will open nightly for spirits and The Pool, our outdoor bar, will offer ping pong, bocce ball, craft beers, and punch bowls, and a weekly acoustic performance.
