MACY’S THANKSGIVING PARADE FLOAT INFLATION

Posted by Stacy

As a born and bred New Yorker, I have only gone to the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade once.  Lucky for me I was in the grandstand.   If you’ve ever attempted to attend the actual Thanksgiving Parade, you know that it can be more bloodsport than warm-hearted holiday fun: screaming children, exhausted hordes who have been up since 10 p.m. the night before holding their spot, and so many bodies you can’t … quite … see … anything. At all. But, you don’t have to miss out on pleasing your inner child altogether; just hit up 77th & 81st Streets between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue on Thanksgiving Eve to check out the float inflation process. It’s far more satisfying
